I think that the quintessential setting for a sunset is looking west into the ocean. We love that feature about our Tamarindo condos. I feel sorry for the East Coast of the USA, as watching the sun rise over the ocean is just not the same as the sunsets into the ocean.
This week we are showing photos of Lake Como, Italy on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. It is one of our favorite places. If you visit the website, it will be easy to see why.

It's just amazing thanks! when I was in tamarindo last summers I personally enjoyed that view
In Florida, we have the best of both worlds, as we can drive over to the east coast and watch a sunrise, then drive to the west coast to watch same sun set!
Beautiful shot!
Re the Circle Square Commons: The man who started On Top of the World bought 25 miles of land back in the 70s...most of that land was a ranch...I think it was and I know it still is called Circle Square Ranch. It's not a matter of either/or. The cattle on Circle Square Ranch are branded with a circle inside of a square.
Kinda crazy but that's life in wild, wild Ocala! :-)
It looks like the darkness is eating up the color in the sky.
lovely!
Goodnight, Dave!
Very impressive!!!!!!!!!
This was quite a series, Dave. I agree that the East Coast doesn't usually have the same kind of skies, but we have other things to make up for them. Just give me some time to think of what they are . . .
I've said it before, but this series is truly amazing! Great work, David.
What a beautiful set of pictures you showed us here!
