This photo shows the back porch of the ranch house. I think this ranch decor could almost be universal. This Costa Rican scene could be in the American West, or rural Appalachia, or Patagonia.
As you can imagine, for two photographers like Julie and me, a visit to this ranch was a "target-rich" environment.

It does have an old west look.
I would love to spend an afternoon just sitting on that porch. I would definitely not be able to resist taking pictures!
My wife's former boss in Connecticut also has a house in Montana, so he has similar decor in the CT home. It looks good here.
