The geese walked across the pasture and into the corral, without being rounded up. They all seemed to know it was time to come in, and they knew where to go. They did not stop upon waddling into the corral, however. We'll follow them some more, tomorrow.
This week we are showing photos of the Canadian Thanksgiving on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, on our
Viva la Voyage travel photo site. Julie joined some good friends there last month.

they have a plan and they are sticking to it.
Geese can be really stubborn. I'd like to see what they would do if someone tried to herd them into that corral... :-)
This is quite the farm. enjoying the tour. Geese are not easily led.
Don't make them mad.....they'll get ya.
Hi Dave, just catching up on the posts I missed while away in Sydney. Great collection of farm animal shots, it's quite an extensive farm they have going on there and then....there was the puppy, little cutie!! Nice work indeed!
You'll definitely enjoy the views from the Blu Bar and just below is the area called The Rocks, great restaurants etc.
Love those fences. It seems the farm has it all regarding animals, a lovely place to visit, I'm sure.
Fun. I used to be chased by geese when I was small. I like the colours of the fences of the corral.
good thing they don't wait till the cows come home :)
Love the shot.
We've never seen them corral themselves. Fly in tight little V's but never herd themselves. Unusual shot.
Darryl and Ruth :)
