This is a nice view of two of the ranch horses in the corral, with the ranch house in the background. You can see the porch that I showed in photos earlier in this series.This ranch had a couple of tractors parked under a roof. I did not think until after we left that we took photos of the horses, cows and other animals, but neglected to take any photos of the tractors. Sorry, but I much prefer animals to machines.

Nice-looking equines. I, too, prefer animals over machines. You'd probably like Ocala with its hundreds of horse farms scattered about rolling hills and forests of oak!
The animals are much more photogenic.
It is interesting that in a place so lush and green that the working horses are so much smaller and thinner than they are here. Maybe it just looks that way to me because I am used to seeing the big robust Quarter Horses that are the popular working ranch horse here.
I have always lived in cities or suburbs, never on a farm, so your series has been a mini-seminar for me.

It's pretty cool that the owners of that ranch gave you an opportunity to explore the ranch. A ranch is an interesting environment, seeing nature and humans side-by-side, in a simple rendition of our complex ecosystem. Of course, the place looks beautiful to boot, so it's all good.
