I may be prejudiced, but I prefer the classic orange coloration of monarch butterflies to butterflies such as the one I showed yesterday.
We should all strive to be egalitarian in our views of all shades of people, even if we have preferences in butterflies.
Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site. This week we are showing photos of the colonial architecture of Grenada, Nicaragua.

Wonderful close up, Dave!
Dave, I like all kinds of butterflies, esp. if I can get up close and observe them. People are just as fascinating to me, and I believe that you have the same feelings for people and places.
Good point Dave! I have to say as far as butterflies go the intricate patterns they all sport fascinate me.
P.s. Your comment on Tiffany's blue boxes made me laugh, I would have been tempted to use it for a gift also :)
The colors are so vibrant!
Beautiful picture. Easy to understand the description of masses of monarchs being like fire in the trees, in Barbara Kingsolver's book Flight Behaviour.
It may not be quite as pretty as a monarch, but it sure makes a beautiful photo.
Wow. Those colors could be digitally or chemically enhanced.
Excellent shot! the flower and butterfly both looking beautiful.....
