Angels are wonderful icons in many different venues.
This angel appears to be standing guard.
I think I see the other one but can't quite make it out but this one angel makes an outstanding statement. I think we saw this one from the side a few days ago with one more in the background.
Very elaborate statuary in this cemetary.
I would not have spotted Moroni unless you had pointed it out, and there's a big one here at the Mormon Temple along U.S. 40 in West County. Time to get out the really long lens.
Now that's a grand tomb marker!
