In the grocery store in a town of locals, not foreign residents and tourists like Tamarindo, here is a photo of a different section of breakfast cereal than the aisle I showed yesterday.
These are large quantity, bulk bags of generic cereal. One must need a large family to eat the amount of cereal in these bags before it would spoil.
We are featuring the style of Sweden this week on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

or perhaps eat a lot of cereal, cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
now this is bulk
This is a whole different way to sell cereal. I'm wondering if maybe culturally, Costa Ricans don't need all those colorful boxes that appeal to us Americans.
where does one buy this giant bags of cereal (aside from this store)? I know plenty of people with a couple of teenagers in the house that would love to cut down the cereal bill.
